Unbelievable! Chelsie Baham’s Victory on Big Brother 26 Was Rigged: She Was Never in Danger!

Big Brother 26 winner Chelsie Baham has established herself as a legend of the reality competition series because of her phenomenal gameplay. Chelsie won Big Brother 26 after Makensy Manbeck became the final Head of Household (HOH) and brought her to the end of the game with her instead of Cam Sullivan-Brown. Chelsie had won Part 1 of the final HOH competition, while Makensy had won Part 2. The two women then faced off in Part 3, which Makensy won.

Throughout Big Brother 26, Chelsie navigated the game very well. From her competition wins to her social game, she proved that she’s a new Big Brother legend. Here’s why Chelsie will go down in history as one of the best players and winners in the history of the show.

Chelsie Baham Was HOH Four Times In Big Brother 26

Chelsie Won The Power More Times Than Any Other Big Brother 26 Houseguest

Chelsie was the Big Brother 26 HOH four times, which tied the single-season record held by multiple legends. They include winners Drew Daniel, Hayden Moss, Rachel Reilly, Ian Terry, Derrick Levasseur, and Steve Moses, as well as houseguests Janelle Pierzina, Aaryn Gries, Caleb Reynolds, Frankie Grande, and Vanessa Rousso.

After beginning Big Brother 26 as a BB mascot in week 1, who couldn’t compete for HOH, the Power of Veto, or vote, but could be nominated and evicted, Chelsie became HOH in week 2. She went from being completely powerless to having all of the power. During Chelsie’s first HOH reign, she successfully evicted Lisa Weintraub, who was considered a competition beast.

Chelsie won HOH again in week 8, during which game threat Quinn Martin was evicted. During week 10, she won HOH again in the second half of the double eviction, finally evicting Angela Murray. In week 12, Chelsie’s HOH reign resulted in Power of Veto winner Makensy voting out Rubina Bernabe in order to create the Final 3 of Chelsie, Makensy, and Cam. Throughout her HOH reigns, she eliminated Lisa, Quinn, Angela, and Rubina, all of whom were strong competitors that could’ve won the game if Chelsie didn’t target them.

Chelsie Baham & Cedric Hodges Were Never In Danger

Big Brother 26 Houseguests Cedric Hodges and Chelsie Baham as BB Mascots

During the two-night Big Brother 26 premiere, Chelsie and Cedric came in last in competitions, and they were downgraded to BB Mascots. For the first week of Big Brother 26, they were ineligible to compete in the HOH and Power of Veto competitions, but they could still be nominated and evicted. They also weren’t allowed to vote. In addition, they had to wear giant microchip costumes during the competitions, and cheer on their fellow houseguests.

This twist seemed disastrous for Chelsie and Cedric’s games because they would’ve been easy targets for the first HOH in the first week of the game before the houseguests really knew each other. However, the first HOH, Angela Murray, immediately told them that they had nothing to worry about because they weren’t her targets. The BB Mascot twist quickly became nothing more than annoyance for Chelsie and Cedric, as it really didn’t affect their games negatively. This twist would’ve been better later in the game when having power stripped away is much more of a danger.

Chelsie Controlled Makensy’s HOH Reigns

Chelsie Was Able To Get Her Way Without Getting Blood On Her Hands

In addition to Chelsie’s achievements during her own Big Brother 26 HOH reigns, she also controlled her ally Makensy’s HOHs, even convincing her to evict her own ally, Leah Peters, by blindsiding her by naming her as a replacement nominee by using the Power of Veto, which Makensy had won. Chelsie also persuaded Makensy to target Kimo, leaving Rubina in the game. The following week when Makensy had to choose to save either Cam or Rubina, Makensy brought Cam to the end with her.

This was a decision that benefited Chelsie greatly because she and Cam had been in alliances since the beginning. It was highly unlikely that Cam would’ve taken Makensy to the Final 2 with him, but Rubina might have. Makensy essentially brought a duo to the Final 3 with her, at Chelsie’s urging. As Chelsie said in one her answers to the jury, she was responsible for the evictions of many houseguests, whether she was HOH or not.

Chelsie Performed Well Under Pressure

Chelsie Won The BB A.I. Arena Competition When Her Back Was Against The Wall

Chelsie began the season in a majority alliance called The Collective, and also in a smaller alliance within the Collective called The Pentagon. However, when the alliances were blown up, Chelsie had to regroup and find new allies. She performed well under that pressure, keeping her cool, and staying loyal to Cam no matter what throughout the game.

When HOH Tucker Des Lauriers named Chelsie as a replacement nominee after he saved Quinn with the Power of Veto, she was forced into the BB A.I. Arena. She knew that she could be in danger of being evicted, so she fought hard and won. That was the only time that Chelsie was on the chopping block the whole season, and she proved that she could win when her back was against the wall. However, as she said in her eviction speech, she didn’t have to win competitions because of her amazing social game.

Chelsie Was Guaranteed A Spot In The Big Brother 26 Final 2 No Matter What

Chelsie Had Both Makensy & Cam’s Loyalty

Chelsie set herself up that no matter who won the Final HOH competition, she’d be in the Final 2 chairs. Obviously, she would’ve been there if she won, but she also made sure that Makensy and Cam were loyal to her instead of to each other. She did this by being friends with them, and also making moves in the game that appeared to benefit all of them. Chelsie was very smart to do this because she knew that she could win against either of them.

Chelsie’s Big Brother 26 Finale Speeches Were Flawless

Chelsie Plead Her Case So Well

Chelsie had an incredible final speech for the jury, but her shining moment actually came before that when she contradicted Makensy’s assertion that getting Leah out of the game was her best move, and that nobody influenced her to do it. Immediately after that, Chelsie took credit for the move in a much more convincing way. The jurors who witnessed the move knew the truth as well. In addition, Chelsie had one of the greatest final speeches in Big Brother history, and it was a truly spectacular moment.

Chelsie Won Big Brother 26 With A Unanimous Vote

Chelsie Played A Perfect Game

Chelsie is a new Big Brother legend because she’s only the fourth champion to ever win with a unanimous vote, and the first woman to ever achieve this. The others are Dan Gheesling (Big Brother 10), Cody Calafiore (Big Brother 22), and Xavier Prather (Big Brother 23). Chelsie also played a perfect game, which means that she never had an eviction vote cast against her, and she won the game with a unanimous vote. She was also never on the chopping block during the live eviction.

Despite the fact that Makensy won eleven competitions, and had a very strong résumé, the jury saw that Chelsie was the mastermind behind the second half of the game. They respected her gameplay, and they voted accordingly. It was surprising that Makensy didn’t receive a single jury vote, but yet it also made sense considering that the jury seemed to realize that Makensy’s game moves were orchestrated by Chelsie.

In her final speech, Chelsie said that she was a diamond because, “You can look at me from multiple perspectives, zoom out and say, ‘That was beautiful.'” She’s absolutely right about this. Chelsie had six competition wins total, smart strategies, and a social game that guaranteed herself a spot in the Final 2 whether she won the final HOH competition or not. As she said in her final speech, she was smart, strategic, social, and skillful. Chelsie will go down in history as one of the greatest houseguests to ever play and win Big Brother.
