“She did nothing wrong” — Big Brother fans divided by Chelsie’s reaction to Cam and Makensy’s closeness

Big Brother season 26 released its latest episode on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Houseguests Quinn and Chelsie celebrated after orchestrating Tucker’s elimination in the previous episode. Chelsie played a major role in swaying the votes against Tucker to avenge Pentagon members Cedric and Brooklyn’s evictions.

While she celebrated the successful execution of her strategy, her relationship inside the house appeared to be under attack. Week 7 Live Feeds, available on Paramount+, showcased a disconnect between her and her crush Cam.

Chelsie was enraged by Cam’s growing closeness with Makensy. Her anger peaked when she saw him pet Makensy as she rested her head on his lap. Chelsie struggled to understand the reason behind his actions. In one clip, she was heard giving herself a pep talk, urging herself to recognize her value and worth.

Later, when Cam asked her to come to bed, she gave him twisted replies. Big Brother fans took to X to react to the situation. While some believed Makensy had no ill intentions, others believed Chelsie’s frustration was justified.

“if cam likes chelsie so much why does he keep being so touchy with mj then. u freaks arent gonna spin this on her she did nothing wrong,” a fan wrote.

Many Big Brother fans sided with Chelsie, convinced her feelings for Cam were “genuine.” They criticized Cam and Makensy for toying with the cast member’s emotions.

“No wonder Chelsie is pissed Cam was cuddled up w MJ when they just had a serious convo about their relationship lmaoo,” a netizen wrote.

Other Big Brother fans felt Makensy did nothing worthy of Chelsie’s wrath. They assumed she was unaware of the relationship between the two.

“MJ has said her and Cam have become closer friends (in the last couple of weeks) because he knows she’s safe and there are no feelings for each other. MJ has also rubbed Cam’s head in front of Chelsie several times. It’s not a big deal,” a person commented.

“I don’t think MJ has nefarious intentions with Cam. Maybe I’m gullible but I think she’s just excited to get close to people and have a group to work with,” one user tweeted.

While speaking with T’Kor, Chelsie confessed she had a heart-to-heart conversation with Cam in which he asked her not to suppress her feelings for him. Although she claimed they would never be “coupled up” inside the house since it could adversely impact their gameplay, she admitted, “It was a beautiful conversation.”

Cam confirmed he had a crush on Chelsie and vice versa. They agreed to “talk in three months,” after they left the Big Brother house. Since the feelings were not one-sided, Cam’s closeness with Makensy bothered Chelsie.

She got up and left the room where Makensy rested her head on Cam’s lap. Although she seemed upset, Cam failed to read the room. Later, Chelsie tried to uplift her mood by giving herself a pep talk. The Big Brother cast member said:

“You are worth way more than you realize. You are so valuable, you are priceless. So don’t lower your price because some has the inability to see your worth.”

The Big Brother star encouraged herself to rise from “the ashes.” Later, when Cam asked Chelsie to come to bed, she found faults in how he spoke. Nonetheless, she followed him into the house.

T’Kor supported Chelsie since she too was uncomfortable with Makensy’s closeness with Cam. While speaking to Kimo, T’Kor confessed she got mad watching Makensy stroke Cam’s head.

“The disrespect. It made me very upset. I’m like, okay, now I understand why it keeps getting inflamed and why you can’t entertain that,” T’Kor said.
