Big Brother 27 Fans Slam Houseguests For Shocking Reaction To Week 3 Eviction

Big Brother 27 fans slammed the houseguests for their shocking, overly dramatic reactions to the week 3 eviction. During the Big Brother 27 live eviction episode, Kelley Jorgensen, Will Williams, and Adrian Rocha battled it out in the BB Blockbuster competition, and Kelley saved herself from the chopping block for the third week in a row.

Adrian, who’d won the BB Blockbuster competition in Big Brother 27 week 2, had been nominated by Head of Household (HOH) Lauren Domingue in Keanu Soto’s place after he saved himself with the Power of Veto. Although it seemed as though Morgan Pope, Vince Panaro, and Zach Cornell were working to possibly save Adrian, he ended up going home in a vote of 8 to 4.

Vince, Morgan, Zach, Mickey Lee, Jimmy Heagerty, Ashley Hollis, Ava Pearl, and Rachel Reilly voted against Adrian, while Keanu, Katherine Woodman, Rylie Jeffries, and Kelley voted to keep him in the house.

Big Brother 27 fans slammed the houseguests for their overly dramatic reactions to the week 3 eviction.

In the comments section of a Big Brother Network post, fans lashed out at the houseguests for their reactions to Adrian’s eviction, wondering how they could cry so hysterically when they were the ones who voted him out. One fan wrote, “Everyone knows there is a good chance of leaving the game – get over it already.”

Other fans were especially annoyed by Ava and Jimmy’s sobbing when Adrian left, with some questioning their authenticity because they were two of the people who voted him out. One viewer wrote, “OMG Jimmy and Ava…he’s alive for Pete’s sake,” while another added, “Jimmy and Ava were both fake as….I can’t use the word I want…”

Another viewer bashed Lauren for her response to Adrian’s eviction because she was the one who nominated him, writing, “Shut up, Lauren. It was your fault.” A different fan lashed out at all of the houseguests’ emotional responses, writing, “Shut up, you backstabbers.”

On the other hand, one viewer praised Rachel for not being fake, saying, “At least Rachel didn’t say she was sad. If I’m not sad that a person is leaving, I wouldn’t say it.”

One viewer wondered if the houseguests would be able to pull themselves together in order to compete in the next HOH competition that night, writing, “Are these people going to be able to play for HOH???? They’re so upset over keeping Will??!!!! Stop crying!!!!!!!”

Another fan didn’t ever want to see any Big Brother houseguests cry ever, stating, “New rule: You cry at any point in the game, you’re evicted immediately..”

What Big Brother 27 Fans’ Reactions To Houseguests Crying Mean

Fans Don’t Think The Houseguests Are Sincere

Big Brother 27 Contestants Rachel Reilly and Amy Bingham Hugging

Big Brother 27 fans are tired of what they perceive as insincere behavior from the houseguests. While it’s understandable that guilt or sympathy might play a role in the contestants crying as their fellow players leave the house, the over-the-top hysterics that some of them have displayed feel very fake and are actually shocking because they’re so theatrical.

If Ava and Jimmy felt that terribly about voting out Adrian, then perhaps they should’ve kept him in the game instead of voting with the house. They have to realize that it’s a game, and, even though Adrian was a nice person who needed the money, if they thought that voting him out was best for their game, then there’s nothing to feel guilty about. That’s simply the nature of Big Brother.

In Big Brother 27 week 2, when even Rachel was swayed into voting with the house to eliminate her closest ally, Amy Bingham, she cried too, but she hid it well. She only became emotional in front of Morgan, and asked her not to tell anyone that she was so upset. This was in great contrast with Zach, who openly wept when Zae Frederich was evicted in week 1.

It’s important for the houseguests to maintain their composure after evictions. If their tears are perceived as fake by viewers, then they’ll lose favor with fans. This could cost them valuable powers from America’s votes, as well as the $50,000 America’s Favorite Player prize.

The fact that fans are praising Keanu for sticking to his word and keeping Adrian, and Rachel for not being fake when she voted him out, means that fans want to see authentic reactions to the evictions that come from the houseguests voting for themselves and not the house.

Our Take On Fans Lashing Out At Crying Houseguests

Big Brother Has Changed Drastically Over The Past 25 Years

The Big Brother 27 week 3 eviction was one of the most emotional in the history of the show. Adrian wept when he lost the BB Blockbuster competition, while Will became choked up during his eviction speech because he felt so bad for Adrian. It’s a testament to how much the game has changed since its early days when ruthless players cut each other from the game without a care in the world.

While it’s nice to see that the Big Brother 27 houseguests aren’t afraid to express their emotions, Ava and Jimmy’s reactions to Adrian’s eviction didn’t seem genuine because they’d voted him out. The Big Brother 27 houseguests have to learn to own their game moves, and not get so upset when someone’s evicted. They’re all fighting for the $750,000 grand prize, and they shouldn’t feel guilty about playing the game.
