Big Brother 26: The Underdog Poised to Win It All — And the Player Who’s Already Sealing Their Fate
Big Brother 26 is in full swing, with only 10 players left in the game. We’re inching closer to the October 13 finale, which means we’re already making predictions about who will be crowned the winner. As the game progresses, a few players have stood out for both good and bad reasons. Some houseguests have emerged as front-runners, while others have already soured their chances of winning the money. Not every BB player is created equal, after all.
Let’s unpack some of the standout players’ games and decipher who has the best and worst shot at winning the game.
Angela Murray – Has no shot on Big Brother 26
It pains me to say Angela Murray has no shot at the $750,000. Although the 51-year-old has won two HOH competitions, her paranoia and unpredictable gameplay have tarnished her chances. Her fellow houseguests don’t trust her and they don’t respect her game. It’s gotten to the point where they don’t see a point in targeting her. Almost every houseguest left in the game thinks they could beat her at the Final Two.
While she may get dragged to the end, her chances of winning over a jury are pretty slim. Multiple houseguests have said they think she has no shot at winning. It would be difficult for Angela to change the house’s perception of her at this point. She’s had too many random, confusing blowups. Her recent bout of paranoia about Tucker flipping on her might have been the house’s final straw. She was instrumental in getting him out of the house but the house isn’t giving her any credit for it.
Chelsie Baham – Could win Big Brother 26
Chelsie Baham may be the most strategic player in the game. She was sitting pretty for a while in The Pentagon alliance but after Cedric Hodges’ shocking elimination, her game took a turn for the worse. HOH Tucker identified her as “the mastermind” of the house and took a shot at her and her number one ally, Brooklyn Rivera. After Brooklyn’s elimination, fans thought Chelsie’s game was over, but they were wrong. The 27-year-old got to work and fixed her social game overnight.
Unlike Angela, the house has a lot of respect for Chelsie. They see her as a threat, so it may be difficult for her to avoid being targeted. However, if she does succeed in avoiding the block, she has a great shot at winning. A jury could very well vote in her favor. She is a great player.
Leah Peters – Has no shot on Big Brother 26
Leah Peters hasn’t done much in the game. Her ally, Matt Hardeman, was evicted in Week 1, leaving her and MJ to fend for themselves. Fans suspected Matt’s elimination would bring her and MJ closer together but the two have drifted in recent weeks.
Leah isn’t in a terrible position in the house. Quinn, Joseph, and Angela are all looking out for her. However, she isn’t using their loyalty to her advantage. Rather than strengthening her connections with Quinn and Joseph, she has spent most of her time trash-talking the two men who want to work with her. Discretion is a big part of Big Brother and Leah is terrible at it. If Quinn finds out what she has been saying about him, she will lose an ally. One of the few that she has. Her crush on Tucker has also hindered her game. He has been clear he doesn’t want to work with her and yet, she would throw Quinn under the bus before him.
I don’t think she has a shot at winning in the end. The house doesn’t respect her gameplay.
Cam Sullivan-Brown – Has no shot on Big Brother 26
Cam Sullivan-Brown isn’t as doomed as Leah and Angela but I think his shot at winning isn’t great. Although he is well-liked, he spent the first half of the game in zombie mode. He appeared uninterested in talking game and had a shallow understanding of the house dynamics. However, he’s recently become more of an active player and even secured a Veto win.
While I think it is possible he makes it to the end, I have a hard time believing he will be able to convince a jury. I am unsure if they will be able to overlook how passively he played the first half of the game. He needs to really step it up if he wants to shift the house’s perception of his game.
