I don’t believe that Married at First Sight season 18 cast member Allen Slovick is part of the impending scandals, contrary to rumors. Allen married Madison Myers on Married at First Sight season 18. Madison is a fitness junkie with a vibrant and outgoing personality that Allen was immediately attracted to. On their wedding day, Madison seemed as into Allen as he was into her. However, the day after their wedding, Madison’s family let Allen know in no uncertain terms that he was not Madison’s type.
Madison reiterated this notion, and she has been struggling to find her attraction to Allen. Allen has also been changing himself to fit more of what Madison finds ideal in a partner. I’ve watched Allen change his wardrobe and start going to the gym in order to get in Madison’s favor and steer her towards finding him more attractive. As more disconnects between Madison and Allen occur, I know they are growing farther apart, but that doesn’t mean that Allen will jump ship for one of his cast mates.

When news broke of Married at First Sight season 18’s premiere, it came with an outlook on what viewers could expect from the season. It included a cheating scandal and first-ever couples swap. At first, I wasn’t sure if the two scandals were related, but now I’m certain they are. I think the cast members involved in the cheating affair will end up swapping their current partner out for their new interest. But I still don’t know if that will leave the participants who got cheated on in a relationship together as well.
Allen & Madison Have Been On Uncertain Terms
They Haven’t Been Getting Deeper
I know Madison and Allen started off their marriage well, but Madison has not been finding herself attracted to Allen. They have done work and exercises to get closer to one another (via @mafslifetime), but it hasn’t been enough. I watched Madison show Allen that she cares through his surprise birthday party, but I see her efforts as more platonic, and more on a friendship basis. Madison and Allen don’t hold hands or kiss, but they do share a bed together. I was holding out hope for them to work, but I don’t think the spark is there for Madison.
In previews for the season, there was an alarming situation with Allen. He was shown burning a piece of paper, and acting fed up with his marriage. I know that indication from the previews does not bode well for the outcome of Allen and Madison’s marriage, but I’m sure there is more to it that will be unveiled as the season progresses.

Are Allen & Michelle Tomblin A Thing?
As speculation about who would be involved in the couples swap, I saw a leading rumor circulate online. The notion was about Allen and David Trimble’s wife, Michelle Tomblin, being a thing. MAFS fans had noticed that Allen left fire emojis on Michelle’s Instagram pictures, which I know looks bad for Allen. It’s possible Allen and Michelle built a friendship from the show and that’s Allen’s way of showing support. Nothing is proven regarding a possible love connection between Allen and Michelle, and I think fans are just grasping at straws.
Allen Is The Most Forthright Cast Member
He’s MAFS Season 18’s Breakout Favorite
I’ve noticed Madison’s continued criticism and disconnect with Allen have been making fans gravitate towards wanting to protect Allen’s heart. Allen comes across as a genuine person who is at the place in his life where being married and enjoying a relationship are what’s right for him.
Allen coming from a troubled background with his parents’ ugly and drawn-out divorce and custody battle has really made me feel for him.
Allen has a sweet nature, and he is providing a lot of comedic relief this season. I think it’s a stretch to consider him as one of the cast members who’s involved in the cheating scandal and couples swap because he is a forthright person. I don’t think it’s in Allen’s demeanor to become a cheater and disrespect Madison despite their inability to take their relationship further on Lifetime‘s Married at First Sight.
