British Royal Family Member Passes Away Suddenly at 45, Buckingham Palace Spokesperson Issues Statement

A statement regarding the passing of a British royal family member was issued on February 27th (local time).

A statement on behalf of Lady Gabriella Kingston, Martin and Jill Kingston, Joanna Connolly, and Emma Murray was released on February 27th to announce the passing of Thomas Kingston in Gloucestershire on February 25th. While the cause of death has not yet been determined, there are no suspicious circumstances or involvement of any other parties.

“We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Thomas Kingston, our beloved husband, son, and brother. Tom has passed, and he was a special man who brought light to the lives of everyone around him. His passing is a huge shock to the family, and we kindly ask for privacy during this time of mourning” – the statement reads.

Following the news of the royal family member’s passing, a palace spokesperson confirmed that King Charles and Queen Camilla had also been informed.

“His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen have been notified of Thomas’ death. Along with Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and all those close to them, the King and Queen are deeply saddened by the loss of a beloved family member. In particular, His Majesty sends his condolences and heartfelt prayers to Gabriella and the entire Kingston family,” the palace spokesperson said.

Before his passing, Thomas Kingston was known as the husband of Lady Gabriella Windsor, the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, and was ranked 56th in the line of succession to the British throne. Kingston’s death comes less than five years after his royal wedding to Gabriella Windsor.

In addition, Kingston had worked as a director at Devonport Capital. He held a degree in economic history from the University of Bristol and had previously worked at Schroders and Voltan Capital.
