A Kensington Royal residence official introduced what he needed to say by talking about Kate’s return to her duties, which is completely dependent on her doctors and her well-being, and they won’t rush anything.
Advanced moderator Gabriela Power added that Kate is being updated on her causes, specifically as Princess of Wales. Kate has truly supported youth development, and new details have surfaced about the Princess of Wales’s treatment for cancer following suggestions that she may be getting back to work behind palace doors.
It was revealed recently that Kate, who has been on leave for most of the year following her diagnosis, was well enough to be advised on the findings of her Early Years team and had been kept updated on its progress throughout the Royal Foundation’s business.
Taskforce leader Chief Christian Person also said that Kate was excited by the campaign and that the initiative was moving forward as Kate recovers. The update, which provided a rare insight into how the Princess was faring after her cancer announcement in spring, was viewed as a positive sign by many, sparking speculation about the timeline for her official return to work.
However, the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden reports that Kate’s friends have indicated it is unlikely she will be seen again until the autumn, which runs from September to November in the UK. They added that even that will only happen if she has fully recovered.
“The main thing that matters right now is her recovery,” they said. “She has endured a trial this year. It’s a reflection of her royal status and importance to the future of the monarchy that she has been given the support she needs.”
Recently, following the update about her briefing on the Early Years report, Kensington Royal residence put out a similarly cautious statement to The Sun, saying, “This should not be seen as the Princess of Wales returning to work. The representative warned that the work of the Prince and Princess’s charities continues, as always. That remains the focus for the Centre for Early Childhood. Over the last few months, there has been significant progress, and she has been kept updated throughout. She has seen the report.”
Kate herself added in a video statement, “We hope you will understand that as a family, we now need some time, space, and privacy while I complete my treatment. My work has always given me a deep sense of joy, and I look forward to returning when I am able. But for now, I must focus on making a full recovery.”
